The Missouri Department of Conservation offers books, videos, audiotapes, computer games, jewelry and more. You'll find great references on our native flowers, trees, snakes and fish, and on hunting, fishing and hiking opportunities, as well as gifts for those who enjoy nature and the outdoors.
All proceeds from the MDC Nature Shop support conservation efforts throughout Missouri.

Frequently Asked Questions
- When checking out and completing the customer information, after I have checked the shipping box I get an error showing “incorrect shipping” but I have checked the appropriate box. What do I do?
- A The system has created an error that will not allow you to complete your order. Please contact the toll free number 1/877-521-8632 and we will take your order over the telephone. It will not allow you to go back in and try to redo your order. We are aware of this error and need to upgrade before we can fix the problem. Sorry for any inconvenience.
- Am I allowed to return items? What is the appropriate procedure?
- We do allow items to be returned but you must contact our Distribution Center toll free 1/877-521-8632. We will provide you with return information at that time. Items received must be received undamaged in order for us to either exchange or refund. Again, we will provide details on how to handle at the time you make contact with our representative.
- What if I have a problem with an order I’ve received?
- Please contact us if you have questions or need assistance with an order you have received by calling toll free 1/877-521-8632. If you need to return the item, we will be happy to work with you as listed above.
- Can I make an exchange online?
- We are sorry but are unable to process exchanges online. We will be happy to work with you as listed above.
- How long will it take for me to receive my exchange?
- Upon receiving your returned items, we will process the exchange immediately and ship it to you as quickly as possibly. Exchanges are handled and reshipped upon receipt. A two-week exchange and delivery time is a good estimate. Exchanges made outside the United States may take a little longer due to the delivery process for out of the country mail.

Purchase Orders
Purchases may be made from pre-approved educational institutions, government agencies, not-for-profit organizations and resale businesses by using Purchase Orders but must be made via telephone or fax on pre-approved accounts. To set up a pre-approved account, you must contact the MDC Nature Shop toll free (877) 521-8632.
Approved vendors will receive a 30% discount on initial purchases of $100 or more (opening more), and 30% off subsequent purchases of $50 or more. Vendor Information/Vendor Discounts

Vendors shall not receive any discounts in addition to the standard 30% discount. Vendor discounts will only apply to books, videos, cds, dvds, and audiotapes that are produced by the Missouri Department of Conservation. Missouri State Sales Tax
We are required to collect taxes for all purchases shipped to Missouri addresses at a rate of 7.225%. The correct amount will be added to your order when it is processed. If you are a Missouri resident ordering by mail, please add tax according to the total dollar value of the merchandise ordered. Do not include shipping and handling fees in this calculation. Taxes may be excluded on those agencies/organizations making purchases with legitimate tax exempt status. The exempt status letter must be provided at the time of purchase when the tax exempt account is set up.

Guarantee/Returns/Exchanges

International orders (including Canada) may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the package reaches the destination country.
