About MDC Nature Shop
The Missouri Department of Conservation offers
books, videos, audiotapes, computer games, jewelry and more. You'll find great
references on our native flowers, trees, snakes and fish, and on hunting, fishing
and hiking opportunities, as well as gifts for those who enjoy nature and the
outdoors.
All proceeds from the MDC Nature Shop support
conservation efforts throughout Missouri.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. When checking out of your store, I got an error, "missing data" when I tried to back up from the page on billing page to the
page I just filled out on shipping information. What happened?
A. The problem you get with "missing data" occurs if you are using the Netscape browser. The page you're trying to go back to is
generated with information from a form, which expires after the browser leaves the page. To get around this problem, click on
the shopping basket at the top of the screen and then proceed to check out again. This will get you to the shipping page again.
Q. What information should I include
with my return?
A.Ê Please include a copy of your packing slip when making a return
or exchange, noting how you want us to handle it. If the packing slip is unavailable,
please include a note with the following:
Tell us how you want to handle the return:
exchange the item, issue an Account Credit, issue a refund, credit the card
originally charged, or other (please explain)?
Let us know why you are returning the item
(for example: wrong size, wrong item, didn't like the color, damaged in transit,
etc.). This helps us serve you better.
Specify the name and address to which we
should send your refund or exchange, and provide your credit card number and
card type if you ordered it online.
Please give us an email address, fax number
or telephone number (specify day or evening) in case we have questions.

Q. What if I have a problem with an order
I've received?
A. Please contact us if you have questions
or need assistance with an order you've received. If you need to return an item,
please refer to the instructions above.
Q. Can I make an exchange online?
A. We're sorry, we are not able to process exchanges online. Please refer to
the above information, or contact Customer Service at 877-521-8632 (toll free)
or (573)751-4115 ext. 3325 orÊ M-F CST for further information.
Q. How long will it take for me to receive
my exchange?
A. Exchanges shipping to United States addresses
are usually delivered within two weeks. Due to longer delivery times, exchanges
shipping outside the United States usually take from 4-6 weeks.
Q. Can I order a new item now and return
the original item later for credit?
A. Yes, but we'll need to charge your credit
card for the second item (we'll waive the shipping charge). Once we receive
your return, we'll credit your credit card for the cost of the original item,
minus shipping. Please contact us to arrange this by calling 877-521-8632 (toll
free) or emailing us at Estore@mdc.mo.gov.

Payment Methods
Credit Cards
We accept Visa and Master Card, but no other credit
cards. Be sure to indicate your card type, number and expiration date if ordering
by fax or mail. Your card will not be charged until your order is shipped.
Checks
If you order by mail, please make your check payable
to Missouri Department of Conservation (in U.S. dollars).
Purchase Orders
Purchase orders are accepted from pre-approved educational
institutions and government agencies. Please include all relevant shipping and
billing information. Vendors with pre-approved credit may also submit purchase
orders.

Approved Vendors will receive a 30% discount on initial purchases (opening
order) of $100 or more, and 30% off subsequent purchases of $50 or more.Ê
Vendor Discount
All discounted sales to vendors (or qualifying institutions)
will be made only through orders placed through Nature Shop online or with our
central distribution center in Jefferson City, Missouri (our other offices and
nature centers cannot provide this service). Vendors shall not receive any discounts
in addition to the standard vendor discount. Vendor discount will only apply
to books, videos, audiotapes, etc. produced by the Missouri Department of Conservation.
Missouri State Sales Tax
We are required to collect taxes for all purchases billed to Missouri addresses
at a rate of 6.225%. The correct amount will be added to your order when it
is processed. If you are a Missouri resident ordering by mail, please add tax
according to the total dollar value of the merchandise ordered.Ê Do not include
shipping and handling fees in this calculation.

Shipping time
Please allow 5-7 business days for most shipments.
Airmail to international locations will take up to two weeks. Surface mail to
foreign countries will take, on average, 8 to 12 weeks.

Shipping and handling charges will be added to your
order at processing according to the charts below. If ordering by mail, please

Guarantee/Returns/Exchanges
We appreciate your support, and hope you enjoy the
products you order from the MDC Nature Store. If an item is defective, though,
you may return it to us for a refund or exchange. If you're not satisfied for
other reasons, you may return or exchange an item within 30 days, provided it
is in new condition.
If you wish to return or exchange an item, please
ship it prepaid to: Nature Shop Online, 2901 West Truman Blvd., Jefferson City,

International Shopper Information
International orders (including Canada) may be subject
to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the destination
country. Additional charges for customs clearance are the responsibility of
the recipient. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; for additional
information contact your local customs office for further information.

Heritage Card
The Heritage Card discount (15%) is availible to Missouri residents
only (Missouri billing address). Heritage Cards are sold through Missouri
Department of Conservation offices as well as at Missouri hunting and fishing permit
vendors throughout the state.
